Shadow of the Colossus team Bluepoint at work on another remake

Today, it was revealed that following its recent release of the impressive Shadow of the Colossus remake for PlayStation 4, Texas based developer Bluepoint Games will continue with its bread and butter with another remake. The initial reports of the game suggested that its sales topped the United Kingdom charts, dwarfing the original game. Since then Bluepoint has made nearly nothing but remasters and the PS4 version of Shadow of the Colossus was their first remake. The site asked if Bluepoint might make an original game of its own, and Thrush responded by confirming that's not going to happen-not yet. As you might have guessed, it's going to be another remake.

The bad news is that, until now, Bluepoint Games has not given any clue about the remake they are working on, so we cannot think of what it can be.

The developer behind the jaw-dropping Shadow of the Colossus remake on PS4 has confirmed that it is beavering away on yet another remake for its next project. In a new interview, the team behind Shadow of Colossus answered some questions about "whether the expanded art team brought on for the project would be deployed next on an original game". So instead of taking on an original title, they shall be working on another remake that is even bigger than Shadow of Colossus.

"(.) our next step is, let's improve the art pipeline, let's improve the engine, let's improve workflow for artists, let's grow on the art side some more to handle our next project because it's a bit bigger.

First look of Omreta released, features actor Rajkummar Rao
But before that we get to see the trailer that is arriving in two days, that its lead star had promised. In fact, he even tweeted a still from the film, saying it's the toughest role he has played till date.

For now, the focus is on that huge remake. Overall what we can contemplate is that their prime focus is set on the artwork.

Interestingly, Bluepoint revealing that it is working on another remake comes off the back of Sony just recently shutting down the servers of Demon's Souls, not long after its nine year anniversary. Not only that most of the fans are also wondering what it could also possibly be that all of the sequels of the title Dark Souls might get a remake.

Not willing to beat around the bush, Bluepoint's president and co-owner Marco Thrush had this to say to Digital Foundry: "Well, we could but we're doing another remake". Let us hope it certainly turns out to be something similar to what they are saying.
