This Oil Stock Buys the Dip at Warren Buffett's Expense

Berkshire Hathaway and Phillips 66 said the repurchase will let Buffett's company reduce its investment below the 10 per cent level that triggers additional regulations. Famed investor Mark Cuban says it will produce "the world's first trillionaires", but that should still leave plenty of money for regular investors who make the right trades early.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK-B) now has a Return on Assets (ROA) value of 0 Percent. With that in mind, here's what Buffett and his team bought and what they sold during the last three months of the year. Zacks Investment Research raised Berkshire Hathaway from a "hold" rating to a "buy" rating and set a $227.00 price objective on the stock in a report on Tuesday, January 9th.

According to the last Berkshire annual report, the majority of the Phillips 66 holding was acquired for an average price of about $78.31 a share.

Aside from Berkshire Hathaway's tech stock dealings, the U.S. investment firm's decision to buy a stake in Teva came with a purchase of 18.9 million shares, which are worth in the region of $358 million.

Berkshire may have funded the Apple purchases by selling roughly $5 billion of IBM stock, reducing that stake to just 2.05 million shares worth about $314 million. It now owns just 3.2% of the iPhone giant and is still sitting on a cash stockpile of more than $100 billion. Mr. Combs and Mr. Weschler are generally responsible for Berkshire's smaller investments. Berkshire was close to break-even on IBM when the selling began.

The front axle has an independent, double wishbone suspension, while a rigid axle with a five-link suspension is used at the rear. The new Maybach S-Class features a similar grille to the one found on the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept from 2016.

Berkshire also reported a 23.3% increase in its holdings of Apple shares, to 165 million, and a 21% increase in its holdings of Bank of New York Mellon, to 60.8 million shares.

The Teva share price jumped sharply in after-hours trading.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc.is a holding company owning subsidiaries engaged in various business activities. The company sold 10 million shares in General Motors, 6 million shares in Wells Fargo and 1 million shares in American Airlines. Comparatively, 26.6% of Berkshire Hathaway shares are held by institutional investors.

Matthew DiLallo owns shares of Berkshire Hathaway (B shares), Enbridge, and Phillips 66. It said total 2017 revenues grew 2%, while also reporting an operating loss of $17.5 billion. I'd be surprised if Berkshire was a net buyer of stocks during the quarter, and it's possible that the company's cash pile will have grown even larger at the end of the year.

Buffett is buying into Teva at the early stages of its own fix.
