Kevin Durant's life to be the focal point of new television series

Oh, and he plays for the Golden State Warriors, beloved of Apple senior vice president Eddy Cue. The series, produced by Imagine Television and being written by Reggie Rock Bythewood (Fox's Shots Fired), is inspired by Durant's youth basketball experience and explores the world of Amateur Athletic Union basketball in the nation's capital as well as its players, their families and coaches who walk the line between dreams and ambition as well as opportunism and corruption. Durant described being courted by apparel brands and scouts from the age of 12, and how his mother, "a long-range thinker" carefully guided his future.

Swagger will be written and directed by NAACP Image Award victor Reggie Rock Bythewood, produced by Image Television and Thirty-Five Media, and executive produced by Brian Grazer, Francie Calfo, Durant, and Rich Keiman. Some friends, though, had parents who succumbed to the lure of fast cash. Durant and Grazer will serve as executive producers. Durant's own channel, which affords behind-the-scenes look at his life and the journey to his first National Basketball Association championship, has attracted more than 21 million views. Other sports-related projects are in the works. The project is part of the Cupertino giant's efforts to put out more original content on its Apple Music TV programming platform.
