Man who went to Disney World looking for kidney gets transplant

"I have an extra kidney and you are more than welcome to it", he said in the message.

"I love to go to Disney World with my kids and I thought where else am I going to go where I'm going to meet more people in the nine days that I'm there", he said.

"I was on the transplant list for the deceased for four years at multiple hospitals.but the problem is for a deceased donor, there is a 7- to 10-year waiting list", he said. Now it has more than 90,000 shares.

A 60-year-old New Jersey man in need of a kidney is hoping the magic of Disney may be able to help him out. People snapped photos and took videos of the message and shared it on social media. Richie said during their first call.

"Totally surprised. I'm from Brooklyn".

Sully, who is also a single parent, flew out to NY to meet Leibowitz and said the pair "really hit it off", Pix 11 said.

But not everyone was a match.

Rob said his friend Jessica, a nurse in Houston at the time, kept harping on him to donate blood for victims of Hurricane Harvey. Sully called the number and left a voicemail.

"Humanity has a new name and it's "Richie Sully", Mr Leibowitz said. I saw your post and I'm O positive. He never saw Sully's emojis because Richie accidentally texted the wrong Rob, a man he met on the subway.

UK and Europe must follow same rules during Brexit implementation: Davis
It's this policy of hugging close to the EU-however May's team spins it-that is causing unease among euroskeptics in her party. Arch Eurosceptic Jacob Rees Mogg told the Sun: "Sun readers will feel that this is not what they voted for in the Referendum".

Sully is also a single dad - of two little girls, 11-year-old Layla and 5-year-old Emma.

After two rounds of testing in Fort Wayne, where Sully has lived for the last 20 years, doctors in the program wanted him to come to NY to complete final tests. He's spent time with Liebowitz every day. A crowdfunding campaign has "fully covered" his expenses, Sully said.

That said, he's not the only person to have done this-Larissa MacFarquhar wrote about the phenomenon for the New Yorker in 2009, and Dylan Matthews covered his own experience giving his kidney as part of a donation chain for Vox a year ago.

Why did he do it?

"It's not a big deal". And I've talked to several donors in the last week that have all said the same thing. He added that he wished more people understood the situation so that there could be more donors.

"You can't put into words what he did for me, so I'll have to figure out how to do the best I can for the rest of my life", Liebowitz told WPIX.

Now they all plan on going to Disney World together and they're inviting the couple who helped make Leibowitz's story go viral.

A online fundraiser has been set up to help Sully pay for the costs he's incurred to come to NY and undergo the surgery, including his hotel stay.
