Watch Anderson Cooper Take Down Roy Moore's Spokeswoman In Wild Interview

In a combative interview Wednesday, CNN's Anderson Cooper pressed Janet Porter, a spokeswoman for Roy Moore's Senate campaign, on sexual harassment allegations against the Alabama Republican.

Porter, who is from OH, called the Alabama Senate race "Ground Zero for religious liberty and Ground Zero for life", before comparing the allegations against Moore to the Duke Lacrosse case and railing against the Democratic establishment, the Republicans establishment, homosexuals, the mainstream media and more for teaming up against Moore.

"Your campaign has blamed an bad lot of people for the accusations being made by women against Roy Moore", Cooper said, rattling off several examples including Jones, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, "mainstream Republicans ... homosexuals, transgender people and criminals". "When you have false allegations that are generated by The Washington Post, there tends to be a pile-on", Porter said.

"So you're from OH, right?"

Cooper and Porter fought it out over Moore's alleged sexual abuse against minors, his multiple removals from the Alabama Supreme Court, and literally everything else in between.

Porter also claimed that George Soros is registering convicted felons to vote against men like Roy Moore, who "stood for God".

As Cincinnati.com reported on December 6 (before Porter's interview with Anderson Cooper later that evening), before becoming the new spokesperson for Roy Moore's Senate campaign in Alabama, Janet Folger Porter was a northeast OH anti-abortion activist best known throughout the state for creating the controversial "heartbeat bill", which would have banned abortion after a fetal heartbeat is detected. Porter couldn't definitively answer Cooper's questions, and the discussion swiftly became a food fight about how Moore will defend religious liberty, drain the swamp, and all that other good stuff.

"Poppy, we need to make it clear that there's a group of non- accusers that have not accused the judge of any sexual misconduct or anything illegal", Porter said.

"It's great to be with you", Porter said after Harlow introduced her.

Cooper pushed back, "Can you get back to me on whether or not he believes homosexuality should be illegal?" Watch the entire interview, including Cooper's suggestion that Porter - from OH - is carpetbagging and lots of talk about the Bible, the Constitution, and Sharia law.

"If you don't want to answer, that's fine. But can you get back to us?"

Porter also would not answer whether Moore still believed Muslims should be banned from serving in Congress, and if he still believes that 9/11 happened because the United States had grown distant from God.

Cooper cited Moore's past statement, in which he said, he believed that Minnesota congressman Keith Ellison should not be allow to swear on the Quran. "Does he still believe that?" "I don't know if there's a conference call that Mitch McConnell and, like, radical homosexuals are on, but it'd be fascinating to hear that", Cooper quipped.

"I think that what he's getting at there is we believe in the rule of law by the Constitution, not Sharia law", she said.

"You're the spokesperson, and you seem unwilling", Cooper later told Porter as the interview came to a close. "I can tell you what he does believe regarding that issue".
