QOTSA's Josh Homme apparently kicked a photographer in the face during concert

Josh Homme, who isn't afraid of igniting a certain level of rockstar induced trouble, has now added himself to the ever-growing list of men who fail to assess the consequences of their behaviour before acting, kicking an innocent female photographer in the face at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas over the weekend.

The photographer, Chelsea Lauren, posted a video on her Instagram of the incident which shows a smiling Homme kick his foot back at her as he walks away. "It was obviously very intentional", she told Variety, who also have her photos from just before the incident.

However, speaking to Variety later, she said she did intend to press charges, explaining her camera had hit her in the face when Homme kicked out. He continued performing. I was startled, I kind of stopped looking at him.

Today, Queens of the Stone Age posted a statement via Twitter in which Josh Homme apologized to Chelsea Lauren. I did not mean for that to happen and I am very sorry. "I would never intentionally cause harm to anyone working at or attending one of our shows and I hope Chelsea will accept my honest apology", he wrote. A small update, as I'm being flooded with questions: My neck is a sore, my eyebrow bruised and I'm a bit nauseous.

Mohawk Inds INC (MHK) Stake Boosted by Incline Global Management Llc
Bahl & Gaynor Inc. purchased a new stake in shares of Mohawk Industries during the first quarter valued at approximately $202,000. The West Virginia-based Mckinley Carter Wealth Svcs has invested 0.19% in Mohawk Industries, Inc. (NYSE:MHK) for 855,589 shares.

Lauren says the singer also whipped out a knife and slashed his own forehead on goal, leaving him dripping with blood for the rest of the performance, and also called the audience "retards".

"Josh [Homme] was coming over and I was pretty excited". Alcohol and drugs are no excuse. "I was simply trying to do my job", she wrote.

Lauren was on one side of the stage while three other photographers were together on the other side of the stage. "He smiled at me and I was reminded there are a lot of good guys in music still". KROQ has nothing to do with this and I will always support them.

Lauren returned to the pit to shoot Thirty Seconds To Mars and Muse, but went for treatment later that night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. At one point, he called the sold-out audience "retards" before insulting the night's headlining act, Muse.
