Manchester derby: Pep Guardiola in the clear over Redmond rant

Manchester derby: Pep Guardiola in the clear over Redmond rant

Pep Guardiola was on Monday cleared to be on the touchline for the Manchester derby after the FA took minimal action over his extraordinary confrontation with Southampton winger Nathan Redmond.

The Football Association sought observations from the Catalan last week after he was seen shouting at the Saints forward on the pitch at full-time after his side won 2-1 last Wednesday.

Shortly after Raheem Sterling's last-gasp victor and the final whistle, Guardiola walked on to the pitch and harangued Redmond, the 23-year-old England global.

Guardiola was said to have complimented Redmond but was frustrated over Southampton's negative tactics in an utterly weird incident.

Despite expressing bemusement at a news conference on Friday over the authorities pursuing the matter after his and Redmond's stories checked out, Omnisport understands Guardiola replied in writing to the FA as requested and received a response reminding him over his responsibilities regarding future conduct at matches. I did it in Munich, with my old player [Joshua] Kimmich.

Nassar was sacked from Michigan State University in September 2016, and USA Gymnastics, which trains Olympians, cut ties in 2015. When he turned in his work laptop computer, officials said it had been wiped completely clean, including the operating system.

"He commented on my qualities as a young English player and how he wanted me to attack his team more during the game in a similar way to last season".

"What I said is what I said and what Nathan said in his statement".

Content that Guardiola had indeed not insulted Redmond, the FA were satisfied to let the City boss off with a reminder of his responsibilities. I can not control myself. Hopefully I will improve.

"But they didn't" want to play, they were time wasting from the ninth minute.

"If they don't believe me I don't know what we're doing here". If they want to listen to me then I will do it.
