M&S launch stoneless avocados - and says they could prevent 'avocado hand'

While M&S says the "avocado hand" is not the reason behind the launch of "cocktail avocado", concerned millennials might benefit from its stoneless feature.

"Avocado hand" is apparently the bain of many middle class kitchens, prompting claims that the fruit should carry warning labels.

However, Marks and Spencer have come up with the ideal solution.

These "cocktail avocados" also have an edible skin, meaning you can just chomp right away into it, without the need to peel and chop.

Forget the knife, these avocados can be eaten whole.

M&S agronomist Charlotte Curtis said: "This fantastic fruit has been on our radar for a couple of years and we're very excited to have finally been able to get hold of some for our customers to try".

This percentage is calculated by adding the dividend yield plus the percentage of shares repurchased. (NASDAQ:SAGE). The Company is engaged in developing and commercializing medicines to treat central nervous system (CNS) disorders.

But the supermarket has only managed to get hold of a limited number of the pain-free fruit, so Ms Curtis advises customers to get them while they can.

The fruit is "only available during December, when usually it is sent to a Parisian food market and bought by chefs to be used in top-end restaurants".

The small, elongated fruit approximately five to eight centimetres long is the result of an unpollinated avocado blossom.

Last year, M&S brought us the mini and giant avocados.

Charlotte continued: "They're ideal for snacking and lunchboxes as they can be eaten whole but can also be used for a lovely garnish or in a salad".

M&S even recommend that they are nice deep fried...but that might be a step too far for us!
