LaMelo, LiAngelo Sign With Lonzo's Agent; No Longer Eligible For NCAA

After pulling 19-year-old LiAngelo out of UCLA following his shoplifting arrest in China, the Ball father, through representative Harrison Gaines, is searching for a team overseas that'll take LiAngelo and 16-year-old LaMelo, who's been yanked out of high school.

Just a few days ago, the elder Ball claimed that his youngest son LaMelo would still go to UCLA after removing LiAngelo.

"I don't care about the money", LaVar Ball said in an interview with ESPN.

LaVar Ball reportedly believed that the suspension, which kept Ball out of UCLA's first eight games of the season and counting, was unfair because the charges were dropped by the Chinese government after two weeks. But for now, there could be some interest in the talented sharpshooters overseas, LaVar said.

LaMelo, who is one of the top high-school recruits in the nation, will no longer be eligible to play in the NCAA after signing with an agent.

LaMelo Ball and LiAngelo Ball have signed with the same agent that represents Lonzo Ball, via a report from Jeff Goodman. "I want them to go somewhere where they will play them together on the court at the same time. I'm not going to say I know for a fact he couldn't defend at that level, but he has never had to do it before and his overall athletic profile doesn't bode well in the future".

Ball felt that his son should have been given the chance to play despite his crime. LaVar has proclaimed that LiAngelo will enter the 2018 NBA Draft, so transferring to another school for next season was not an option.

"There will be three people with them all the time", Ball said.
